4 Colorado tech companies welcoming new leaders to the team this month

So far, May has seen some big leadership changes at Colorado tech companies. In just a couple weeks, four new leaders and advisors have joined the ranks at companies like Zayo, Ping Identity and Digabit. Here’s a closer look at this month’s executive hires.

Zayo Group, a provider of bandwidth and colocation services, snagged Level 3 Communications vet Edward Morche as their new vice president of sales. Morche held various senior roles at Level 3, most recent of which was group vice president of sales. He will lead Zayo’s entire sales team as they continue to expand their business and strengthen relationships with global customers.

Yesterday, Ping Identity announced that Bart Hammond will be joining their leadership team as vice president of customer success. Ping Identity provides identity-defined security for enterprise-level businesses around the world. Hammond comes to their team bringing 25 years of IT services experience, with the last 10 of those years spent leading the global services division at EMC Corporation.

KIOSK Information Systems, one of the leading providers of custom, self-service kiosks and retail software, named Bill Butler as their new CEO. Butler served as chief financial officer since 2014 and was chosen for the role by Owen Chen, the CEO of Posiflex Technology Inc., which acquired KIOSK last year for $105 million. Moving forward, former CEO Tom Weaver will act as an executive consultant to the company.

gary-broache-headshot.jpgYesterday, Digabit, Inc. announced the appointment of Discover Books CEO and investor Gary Broache. Broache joins the board with over 20 years of executive experience and a deep understanding of how to drive companies to profitability. Alan Sage, CEO of Digabit, said in a statement, “Gary brings a wealth of experience in the technology industry and will play a key role as Digabit continues executing its vision of helping manufacturers bring their business online.”
