Rockies Venture Club launches a ‘Hyperaccelerator’ program

The Rockies Venture Club is launching a super-accelerated accelerator program. Unlike traditional programs, which take as long as four months, this program will take as little as one week and does not require a company to give up equity. ProtectWise raises $20M round

Denver-based ProtectWise raised a $20 million Series B round, raising the company’s total venture capital to $37 million. The most recent round was led by Tola Capital, with participation from Crosslink Capital, Trinity Ventures, Paladin Capital Group and Arsenal Partners. [Built In Colorado]

Colorado companies took a huge number of Outside magazine’s top places to work, including the number one spot. Unsurprisingly, Colorado companies always feature prominently in the rankings, and last year took 28 of the top spots. Report ranks Denver and Boulder as top emerging tech centers

A new report ranks Denver as the number 4 and Boulder as the number 6 best positioned cities to become tech’s new hotspot. Frustratingly, San Francisco took the number 1 spot, Washington D.C. number 2, New York number 3, and Chicago number 5.
