Digabit Open House, August 31 at 3 p.m.

Digabit recently moved into their new headquarters and is hosting an open house. Not only will you get to check out their eclectic new space, you’ll also get to hear first hand what the company has been up to. It’s my understanding that their new space is really something special. Table tennis tournaments are encouraged.

IoT in Retail, September 1 at 6 p.m.

Check out how the Internet of things works in a real-world, retail environment. You’ll get a chance to see how the IoT impacts customer experience in a retail setting at a store in Denver. They have a connected shoe display, connected signs, and smart dressing rooms. The organizers are providing free beer and pizza, so you can stuff your face while figuring out just what a smart dressing room entails.

Intro to the Colorado Startup Scene, September 2 at 9:30 a.m.

If you’re new to the city or coming from a different industry and want to get plugged into the local startup scene, look no further. Built in Colorado’s own Elyse Kent will guide you through an overview of the Colorado startup ecosystem. There’ll be networking at the end, so you can even leave with a new startup friend.

Built in Brews at Rally Software, September 3 at 5 p.m.

It’s hard to imagine a better location for this quarter’s Built in Brews. Located in Rally Software’s posh downtown offices, this event promises to be a hit. If you’re unfamiliar with Built in Brews, think of it kind of like a networking event combined with and an adult, tech themed keg party, all hosted by one of Colorado’s premier tech startups. Everybody who’s anybody in the Colorado’s tech world shows up, drinks beer and mingles until the beer’s gone. Sign up today or you’re liable to be left out, as space is limited and these events are incredibly popular.

Pebble Rocks Boulder Hackathon, September 4 at 6:30 p.m.

Don’t have big plans for Labor Day? Participants at this 48-hour hackathon taking place at Galvanize’s Boulder offices will use Pebble Time smart watches and Lulzbot 3D printers to create something awesome. Everybody who participates will get a free Pebble Time watch and access to all the things they need to turn it into something else. Knowledge of javascript will be useful.

Have an amazing week Colorado and make sure to check out our events calendar for all the other tech events happening around town.
