The coworking space market in Denver is about to get a whole lot more crowded as a giant moves in. The international coworking company WeWork has signed a lease to occupy 70,000 square feet of the still-under-construction Triangle Building at Wewatta and 16th Street, across from Union Station.

The coworking space will be on the second, third and fourth floors of the 12 story building and people working at WeWork will have their own entrance. The building will not be completed until later this year, and tenants are expected to begin moving in shortly thereafter.

A report from Business Den in May said that WeWork was planning on taking Denver by storm, opening three offices total in the downtown area. That report, which the company declined to comment on, predicted the company would open 69 ,000 feet of coworking space over three floors in the Triangle Building.

The other potential locations for WeWork offices mentioned in that report were in The Lab on Platte and an office at the 16M development at 16th and Market. It is not unheard of for WeWork to open multiple coworking spaces in relatively quick succession in a single city.

New York-based WeWork operates coworking spaces around the country and the world and was recently valued at over $10 billion.
