Startup Dog of the Week: Lola the Pug

We live in Colorado, where owning a dog is as much a part of the culture as beer or skiing. And since a growing number of workplaces are allowing owners to bring their best friends with them to work, we thought it was inappropriate to overlook this growing demographic in the workplace. Behold, the 'Startup Dog of the Week.'

This week's startup pug, Lola, works at Green Spaces with her sidekick Megan Peddycord, a Brand Marketing Associate with Blackboard.

Lola the pug

Lola was born in Georgia, but has spent the majority of her 8 years in the great state of Colorado. She spends her time struggling to breathe quietly in the thin air, raging against the evil toenail clippers, and shooting death stares at anyone eating human food until they share with her. Her best friend is a blue, stuffed, now-eyeless monster. They spend their time together making squeaking sounds and either chewing or being chewed on. Lola is also a great interior decorator, preferring the rustic aesthetic of her own short blond hairs covering everything in the room. Her five year plan includes aspirations to be a professional tap dancer (which is, in theory, why she refuses to let anyone clip her toenails) and not losing either of her eyes.
