Social Network for cannabis users goes public

MassRoots, a social network for marijuana smokers, is officially the first marijuana company to secure a public offering. The Denver-based company, which was founded just 2 years ago, is currently valued at $45 million. Photobucket buys second company this year

Denver-based company Photobucket bought San Francisco based social media video company Milyoni Inc. this week. The terms of deal have not been disclosed, though Photobucket has announced it will operate an office in Pleasonton, California. Accuvant & FishNet to Join Forces

UCCS To Partner With Army Reserves To Boost U.S. Cyber Defense

The University of Colorado at Coloardo Springs has joined 7 other U.S. universities in a partnership with the U.S. Army Reserve and over 20 defense contractors. CU-Boulder & Brad Feld Team Up For New Entrepreneurs In Residence Program

The new program will allow up to four entrepreneurs to mentor students at CU-Boulder. Those chosen for the program will work for up to 20 hours a week at the university, and receive a stipend of up to $25 thousand a year. The program is unique, because the university will accept applications from foreign nationals, providing work visas as part of the program, eliminating a hurdle many international entrepreneurs face in coming to the U.S. [Built in Colorado]
