Bud and Breakfast Launches Pot Friendly Booking Engine

Bud and Breakfast launched the first ever web-based booking engine for travellers looking for marijuana friendly accommodations in places with legalized cannabis. $15.5M Series A gives Denver-based Green Chef a big boost

Green Chef got a big boost this week to the tune of $15.5 million in Series A funding from the venture capital fund New Enterprise Associates. The startup delivers fresh ingredients to households in the form of do-it-yourself meal packages. The company’s CEO and Founder, Michael Joseph, declined to comment on what the infusion of capital would be used for.  [Built In Colorado]

SF-Based Recurly Expanding To Boulder, Hiring 30

Recurly, a SaaS platform that handles subscription billing for companies like LinkedIn and CBS Interactive is opening a new office in Boulder. The company plans on hiring six software development engineers immediately, while spacing out the rest of the new hires over the course of the year. Gamma 2 Robotics Gets $3.5M From Foxlink Group

The creators of the first commercially available security robot, Gamma 2 Robotics, closed $3.5 million in Series A funding. The company has received $4.45 million in funding in the last 9 months, with the most recent funding coming from the Taiwanese electronics company Foxlink Group. Boulder-Based JumpCloud Inc. Raises $3.2M

JumpCloud Inc., a SaaS startup based in Boulder, filed a new $3.2 million funding round with the SEC. Last year JumpCloud raised $3 million from the Foundry Group and Techstar Ventures, raising the company’s overall funding total to $7.5 million since its launch in 2012.
