WorldRemit bolsters Denver presense

London-based money-transfer company WorldRemit has received a $100 million round of venture financing, which will help add 218 employees in downtown Denver in the next five years. The company provides website and mobile apps that allow people to send and transfer money internationally more easily. Colorado Tech Association names new leaders

The Colorado Technology Association announced new board leadership for 2015 this week. Steve Foster, chief operating officer at GTRI, will lead the organization as board chair in 2015 and Michael Marcotte, founder of Acumen Digital and former chief information officer at EchoStar, was named chair elect.
